Your travel itinerary could look like...
Day 1
PM - Arrival
Upon landing in San Jose, you will be greeted by your guide for the week. They will show you to your transfer and take you to your accommodation.
Drop of your bags and take a moment to rest, before heading out for an evening meal for your first night in Costa Rica
Day 2
AM - Base Camp
Your first full day in Costa Rica is all about getting to, and getting familiar with where you are going to be spending most of your time.
Getting to Parismina can be a bit of a feat, with the village only being accessible via plane or boat. You'll spend the morning aboard a boat to the remote destination on the northern Caribbean coast .
PM - Canal tour & night survey
Spend the afternoon settling into your new remote location and getting to know the vibrant culture of Parismina. You will be taken on a canal tour to further get to know your location and the project that you will be a part of. One of the primary functions of Parismina and village life is conservation of local protected species.
After dinner take part in a night survey, where you can collect data on female sea turtles nesting in the research area without disturbing their nesting behaviours.
Day 3
AM - Handicraft workshop
Spend the morning taking part in a handicraft workshop, where you can learn techniques used by locals as they craft tools for conservation and village life.
PM - Camera set up & night jungle walk
In the afternoon go out and set up camera traps so you can get updates and keep an eye on local wildlife remotely. Once all the cameras are set up you can head back to the lodge and refresh for a while before dinner.
After dinner you can have a little time to yourself to relax and gather yourself before embarking on a magnificent night time jungle walk! (Please note that the group will be split into smaller groups, with teachers in each group)
Day 4
AM - Zip line tour
It is an early start after your late jungle tour from the night before. After breakfast jump straight on the coach and head to the Rainforest Adventure, Braulio Carrillo National Park.
Here you will immerse yourself in the rainforest as you fly through the canopy on the 700m long zip line tour, where you will see the snake and frog exhibition, the orchid and butterfly gardens as well as everything else the rainforest has to offer.
PM - Nature walk & return to San Jose
Didn't quite see enough on your zip line tour? That's ok, in the afternoon you can get a more grounded view of the rain forest with a grounded walking tour.
After you have finished your tours, head back to the coach as you transfer back to San Jose.
Day 5
AM - La Trinidad & community welcome
Join the kids at a local school, and under the guidance of a local teacher, interact directly, and teach English classes through varying activities.
PM - Traditional dance lessons
After lunch experience a traditional Costa Rican dance lesson, with all the flair and rhythm from the local region on show.
Once you have danced the afternoon away, hop back aboard your coach and transfer to Casa Parra where you will check into your accommodation for the evening.
Day 6
AM - Coffee plantation tour
To start you final full day in Costa Rica, take a tour of the largest coffee cooperative in the Cope Dota area. Visit different plantations, not from a large company, but from small, local producers, that are part of the cooperative. See the planting processes from the seed, collection, washing, drying and roasting. Visit each of the places in the plantation, taking part in every process, as the tour is as interactive as the weather allows.
PM - Return to San Jose
At the conclusion of the tour, and after lunch, re-board the coach as you transfer back to San Jose for an over night stop before you return back to the UK.

Arrive at the airport in plenty of time to board your flight back to the UK.
