Your travel itinerary could look like...
Day 1
Take a daytime flight and transfer to the accommodation. Serviced by two airports Milan is a breeze to get to.
In the evening use some free time to explore the area around your hotel, the city and get some orientation.
Day 2
An hour’s coach drive away is the Museo Villa Mazzucchelli, a house museum dedicated to Gian Mazzucchelli, an eighteenth-century scholar that is rich in furnishings of the time as well as frescoes by Francesco Savani.
For lunch enjoy a wander through one of the picturesque towns on the shoreline of Lake Garda, like Desenzanino, Rivoltella del Garda or Sirmione.
Next it’s time to head for a visit to Armani/Silos, the fashion art space in Milan dedicated to the Armani style. The unique exhibition permanently on display celebrates almost 50 years of designs and style. A huge selection of the fashion designer’s creations from 1980 up until today.
The evening is a fantastic time to visit Grand Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. As Italy's oldest active shopping gallery and a major landmark of Milan. Housed within a four-story double arcade in the centre of town.
Day 3
This morning you’ll visit Museo della Seta di Como showcasing the silk-making process, from silkworm to heritage looms & clothing samples.
While in Como there’s a great opportunity to take Europe’s steepest cable car, in just 5 minutes you can be enjoying the views of the lake from 800 metres high.
The Quadrilatero d’Oro district is the beating heart of Milan, as the fashion capital of the world. One of the world’s most important centres of fashion and home to Milan’s most exclusive workshops and stores. Translated to the Golden Rectangle the Quadrilatero d’Oro is the name given to the tangle of streets just north of the Duomo.
Day 4
Before your return home you have to explore Brera, the art district of the city. It’s known as that, because of its art school, historic museum-gallery, and contemporary art galleries and studios.
